You guys probably have heard about Pownce already so I’m gonna make this quick.
These past few days, I have the luxury of playing around with it and I have to tell you, man I am blown away. It’s like having a mac version of your YM or GTalk or whatever it is you use to send messages to your friends. But Pownce is more than that…
Pownce is a way to send messages, files, links, and events to your friends. You’ll create a network of the people you know and then you can share stuff with all of them, just a few of them, or even just one other person really fast.

Even how functional or robust a system sometimes, there’s always room for improvement. And speaking of improvement, a team from orderedlist.com created a new plugin that do just that–improve WordPress’s administration panel and it’s called WP Tiger Administration.
The current default WordPress administration area is functional, but I felt it could be improved. For several reasons, I didn’t want to touch the XHTML framework of the admin, but instead relied on the power of CSS2 to manipulate the presentation. The whole package has been wrapped up into a single plugin. Just install and activate. The new design will be immediately visible.
Currently, it is compatible with Safari and Firefox. Surely, Internet Explorer will come after it becomes compliant with CSS2 specifications. For the meantime, Internet Explorer user will see the default WordPress default administration panel. So I suggest you download Firefox or Safari now.

The latest version of WordPress, WordPress 2.2.1, is already out. And because of the recent security issues that they found, the team behind Wordpress is making it a required update. Read more about it here.
For the meantime, it’s time to update.
Microsoft unveilds a new digital media player under the Zune brand. The Zune device is a 30GB digital media player. This new digital player features wireless technology, a built-in FM tuner and a bright, 3-inch screen that allows users to show off music, pictures and video, and enable them to customize the experience with personal pictures or themes. Zune comes in three colors: black, brown and white.

Apple annouces new upgrades on its digital music player–iPod.
Movies, TV shows, games, music and a lot more can now be easily played on the new 80GB iPod. Now I wonder how can you play all those songs if you have 20,000 of them.With the new iPod you can always watch your favorite movies on the go. Or play new iPod games when you’re bored. Or maybe reminisce from your collection of photos. Surely you can think of other ways to use your iPod.

Microsoft today announced the release of Live Search, Live.com, and Live Local Search from beta. Microsoft also announced that Live Search will replace MSN’s current web search capability.
What to expect?
With Live Search, users has the power to find, customize and track news, images, video, RSS feeds and blogs across the Web. With Live Local Search, it will focus on increased availability of bird’s-eye imagery, stable and improved mobile integration and functionality, and other user interface improvements and customization tools.
Let’s just wait and see if it can sway some audience away from Google and Yahoo.

Does it really work? I am just wondering if the Report Spam feature of Gmail works, because I’ve been spammed by the same types of email everyday. What I mean is that, the spam emails I’ve been getting have the same content, just a different sender. I know we really couldn’t completely eliminate spam, but I’m just hoping that Gmail would develop or improve on their current spam filtering system to weed out spam effectively.
Well, until that time comes, I’ll just keep on reporting every spam email I get.
So what is Pando?
Pando is a free software that lets you send and receive large files through your existing email address. In other words, it eliminates email attachment limits. Now you can send large files, like videos and full album mp3s to your family and friends.

Currently, it is limited to 1GB per email.
